I don't really know how he got there but this little dude lunged at me as I walked from my room to the kitchen in the rain. He continued his assault as I took the photo. This photo was take from above the bridge on the Sergey Vavilov - we were on the northern edge of the Svalbard archipelago - in an attempt to circumnavigate the islands. Unfortunately the ice flow shifted and we were forced to turn around, but we did have several days of amazing scenery as we moved through the ice.
