The Adirondack region is a popular travel destination for its beautiful vistas, boreal bird watching, and plethora of lakes, ponds and rivers that lend themselves to all manner of sport, from a peaceful afternoon of fishing, to kayaking, to the heart stopping draw of white water rafting.
