If you like to ski, Sierra Nevada may be the place for you

A mountain range in Spain’s Andalusia region, Sierra Nevada is also where you can find the highest point in continental Spain, Mulhalcen, which stretches an impressive 3,478.6 m above sea level. Mulhalcen remains snowcapped from November through May, and, according to legend, its summit is also the burial place of Muley Hacen, one of the last Muslim Kings of Granada. It is from there that the mountain draws its name.
