Stand-up paddlers fundraise for Ontario hospital
By Outpost MagazineStand Up For CHEO is a charity fund-raising event for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) featuring the new sport of stand up paddling. From July 8 – 10 participants can choose to paddle a variety of different distances in support of the CHEO Foundation. This Saturday Outpost’s own Paul Auerbach will be paddling the second, and longest leg of the tour, 44.6 km from Smiths Falls to Rideau River Provincial Park. Stay tuned for more details of this event as the paddlers wind their way from Westport to Ottawa in support of a great cause.
