Winter Hours of Operation
The wilderness hostels of the Rockies adjust their hours in the winter to accommodate road conditions and seasonal demand. Take note of the adjusted hours and openings for 2009-2010.

HI-Yoho National Park: Closed September 28, 2009 to late June 2010
HI-Castle Mountain: Open all winter
HI-Kananaskis: Closed October 12 to November 5, 2009 and April 19 to May 20, 2010
HI-Mosquito Creek: Closed October 12 to November 27, 2009, and April 5 to May 20, 2010
HI-Rampart Creek: Closed October 12 to November 12,  2009 and April 5 to April 29, 2010*
HI-Beauty Creek: Closed from October 12, 2009 to May 20, 2010 (key access available)
HI-Athabasca Falls: Closed from November 2 to December 3, 2009.
Closed Tuesdays from October 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010*
HI-Mount Edith Cavell: Closed from September 7, 2009 to June 11, 2010 (key access available except from September 7, 2009 to
February 15, 2010 due to road construction and Parks Canada Caribou Management Practice. 12-kilometre  ski-in required)*
HI-Maligne Canyon: Closed from March 26 to April 15, 2010, except open April 2 to 4, 2010 for Easter
Closed Wednesdays from October 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010
