NORTH INDIA ADVENTURE

There is no finer way to appreciate the diversity of village life in Rajasthan than by cycling and camel riding. We combine both with visits to the famous palaces and forts of northern India. As we set off in the desert, we appreciate why this is no ordinary tour. Our camel caravan takes us to remote villages and forts while at night our crew and musicians capture the desert atmosphere. After three days in the saddle we visit the walled cities of Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and the Pink City of Jaipur before commencing our cycle ride. Our cycle is leisurely, enabling us to absorb the atmosphere and culture of the backroads and scenic landscapes. If you haven’t cycled since your school days don’t worry. The roads are flat, the days are relaxed and we provide a backup vehicle for your convenience.

No local payments policy: Local cash payments are becoming increasingly popular with many operators in the adventure travel industry. This policy seems to benefit the tour operators more than the local economies or the travellers, as it avoids local taxes and transfers the costs and risks of cash handling onto the travellers. In accordance with our Responsible Travel practices, we have chosen a policy of not asking for such payments. 

No single supplement: On our scheduled group departures, single travellers will be matched with a fellow traveller of the same gender and no single supplement price is charged even if we cannot find one. You may also specifically request single accommodation, in which case a supplement will apply.
