Backpackerz BUZZ: Issue 60

By Hostelling International

New HostelsSAY HELLO TO OUR NEW HOSTELS

HI-Charlottetown
HI-Charlottetown is now open on Prince Edward Island. The hostel is set in a vintage house with funky decor, original hardwood floors, a cherry banister, bay windows and modern plumbing upgrades. Freshly baked goods are included every morning in the comforting country kitchen. The small hostel is near the waterfront, Parliament House and other attractions.

HI-Winnipeg Downtowner
A brand new hostel in downtown Winnipeg opened in mid-August. The HI-Winnipeg Downtowner is a restored hotel and will also house an on-site pub and restaurant. The hostel is close to the city’s finest attractions including the Forks, the award-winning Manitoba Museum, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, and the incredibly dynamic Exchange District with all of its vibrant shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Special thanks to:
Becky Herman, Hannah Curzon, Ken Campbell
